On Monday 10th of October 2016 delegates from around the world travelled to AARC Automotive Proving Ground to witness new technology present in the automotive industry. The event was part of the 23rd World Congress on Intelligent Transport Systems and was an opportunity to showcase new industry developments and the future of automotive technology. AARC’s test facilities showcased autonomous and semi-autonomous vehicle demonstrations, automotive demonstrations by Robert Bosch, military vehicle technology by Rheinmetall MAN, road train and B-double demonstrations by Linfox and automatic number plate recognition by National Safety Agency. The event was a great opportunity to share knowledge and for delegates to engage in discussions that will help shape future transport in Australia and around the world.
