AARC CHARGES AHEAD

With many manufacturers looking towards bringing eco-friendly electric and autonomous vehicles to the Australian market, AARC is keen to support development and testing in this area.

AARC, along with parent company Linfox Australia, have recently joined the new national body representing the EV industry, the Electric Vehicle Council. The Council is encouraging coordination across market participants, governments and consumers, in order to assist with the increase of electric vehicles on Australia roads.

AARC hope the 1000-hectare automotive testing site will provide manufacturers with the opportunity to test and showcase their products, to enhance engagement between the electric vehicle industry and relevant bodies.

One electric vehicle charger from Tesla has been installed on site, and several generic chargers will be installed in the near future, providing the capability to charge any EV model at the proving ground.
